Ranbir doesn't love Deepika now

Reams are being written about Ranbir Kapoor's love life these days.

The 25-year-old son of Neetu and Rishi Kapoor admitted his fondness for Sonam Kapoor but at the same time he is being linked with his ex-flame Deepika Padukone as well. And Some says he is bonkers about Nandita Mehtani.

So whom is he dating? "Nobody. I swear to God!" answers Ranbir with a mischivious smile.

"Sonam is an amazing person, amazingly beautiful… and I wouldn't blame myself if I was in love with her; but unfortunately, I am not.

She has moved on to her next film and I have moved on to mine and we try to keep in touch," he adds.

But what about Deepika with whom he has shot a schedule in Australia for Yashraj film?

Says Ranbir, "My current relationship with Deepkia is totally professional. We have a great working relationship.

I met her while she was shooting for Om Shanti Om, and we realized we would be working together and I thought I should get to know her.

We were friendly, we used to go out for dinners with a bunch of friends. The media blew it out of proportion.

They were writing really nasty things and linking us together, which made it awkward between us."

She was already in a relationship at the time... then the two films were being compared to each other. It started getting a little ugly.

Her family was concerned, my family was concerned. Together, we decided to keep our distance and concentrate on our careers," he adds.

But their new found closeness at YashRaj sets might change all that. Let's just wait and watch if the foccused duo create space for their romance to blossom all over again or not.

Jodha Akbar Faces Lot Of Trouble

www.mydiddle.co.cc
The film Jodha Akbar is facing lot of controversies and its condition one can say is between the deep sea and the devil.

The film is facing lot of allegations from every side.
The animal rights activists accuse Gowarikar of being cruel to horses used in some sequences. And Gowarikar is having a time answering them.

Worse of all the rajputs of Rajastan claim Jodha Akbar to be poltically incorrect.
They say Jodha bhai was Akbar’s daughter-in-law and not wife. The Government of Rajasthan has banned the release of the movie in its state.

The shooting of this film was done in and around Jaipur, and since then i.e the initial days of shooting this film and its crew have been facing issues.

If this was the case then Director Gowarikar who made this high budgeted film should have thought about this issue long time back.

There are several researches and studies being used as evidence by the concerned people to prove that Jodha Bhai is not Akbar’s wife.

The crowd’s wish to ban this film for its wrong content is justified, however, hounding Aishwarya Rai who was present in a hotel in Jaipur celebrating her Husbands birthday along with her in-laws is unfair.

The actress cannot be blamed she did just what the director told her to do. The crew of this film has worked very hard to make this film, the actors have undergone rigorous training to learn the language and have taken great pains to get accustomed to the customs and traditions of that age.

What was more sadder was the fact that Slogans like ‘Jodha Akbar nahin chalega, band karo Jodha Akbar’ and ‘Amitabh (Bachchan) Aish ko samjhao, Aish ko Jodha mat banao’ filled the air as the protestors burnt posters of the big budget film in Rajasthan.

Gowarikar always makes high budget filmswhich unfortunately faces some problem or the other before its release date.

Jodha-Akbar is to be released on 15th of Feb and its release is most awaited irrespective of all the allegations.

Darsheel nominated for best actor in Filmfare

Darsheel Safary, the little boy who made you cry, laugh in Taare Zameen Par, has been nominated for best actor in the 53rd Filmfare Awards - the first time a child has been nominated in this category.

Darsheel vowed the audience with his performance as a dyslexic child in Aamir Khan's directorial debut. Aamir has been nominated for best actor in a supporting role for the film.

Others vying for the best actor trophy are Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Shahid Kapur.

Darsheel, the winner of best child artiste at the 14th Annual STAR Screen Awards, was pretty upset when he was not considered for the best actor at the Screen Awards.

'I should get the best actor award because I am playing the lead role in the film. If I had been nominated in the best actor category, I would have been happier and jumped higher with joy,' Darsheel had said.

Although Shah Rukh got the best actor award for Chak De India at the Screen Awards, Darsheel may beat the superstar in the race at the Filmfare awards.

SRK, Kajol to come together for Karan Johar's next

They have made you cry, laugh and watch bedazzled as they unleashed their magic in films after films like Karan- Arjun, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. We are talking of Bollywood's favourite on-screen couple, Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan.

Well there is some good news for their fans. If reports are to be believed then director Karan Johar, will be casting the two of them opposite each other in his next film. SRK and Kajol will face the camera together after seven years. They were last seen together on screen in Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.

Before leaving for New York for location hunting, the young director confirmed the news. He said that Kajol and SRK will be in his next film, which is an emotional love story being penned by Shibani Bhatija.

He had wanted to recreate the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham magic and had initially offered Kajol the role which was finally essayed by Rani Mukherjee in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. But Kajol turned down the role for reasons best known to her. But she did admit on the television chat show, Koffee With Karan, that SRK was mad at her for making her comeback with Aamir Khan in Fanaa and not him.

Being homosexual is not a crime

On Saturday night a private Gay party at Thane Yevor was raided by the cops. Should laws pertaining to homosexuality be revised? Shocked, Bollywood reacts.

Riya Sen: "Everyone in a democracy should enjoy the freedom to do what he or she likes. I think it's uncivilized to question anyone's sexuality and invasion of privacy is a bigger crime than any.

Not just homosexuality we need to open up our minds against all kinds of prejudice, if we want to really go global."

Randeep Hooda: "I've lots of gay friends, both male and female. And I'm very comfortable with them. As long as they respect ny heterosexual space I've no problems with their sexuality.

As far as the gay party on Saturday night is concerned if the party goers were disrupting the neighbourhood's peace then they deserve to pulled up.

Alternate sexuality must not be an excuse for extra rights and privileges. If you want to be equal then fight it out in life just like any of us.

Manoj Bajpai: Yes the law should be revised. All citizens have the right to decide how they live their lives."

Rohit Roy: "I'm not very clear about gay rights and laws in India. But I must say this sort of a raid gets us thinking about the priorities of the police. Shouldn't they crack down on elements dangerous to society rather than gays who just want to live in peace?

Lilette Dubey: "Of course the laws pertaining to homosexuality should be revised. They are archaic and inhuman. An individual's sexual preference is a completely private matter.

It falls under the realm of the law when there's a public display of obscene behaviour. Any such conduct must be equally punishable for straight and gay persons.

If gay behaviour offends publicly the law has every right to react.otherwise we're the largest democracy and sexual freedom is our democratic right.

Nandana Sen: "Yes absolutely! The laws need a change. No one has the right to invade a peaceful private gathering. It's against our democratic principles to treat homosexuality as crime.

Celina Jaitley: "My closest friends are gay and I wouldn't let anyone hurt them. The laws need drastic change. Homosexuality has existed since the invention of civilization. Some of our greatest artiste today ate gay.

At this time of HIV and AIDS gay rights should be our primary concern. The Britishers who left behind our laws on homosexuality are gone.

In Britain they've gay marriages. So why we we stuck with their obsolete laws? Also science proves homosexuality is genetic. How can gays be punished when even the Hindi language has the stree-ling and pu-ling genders?

Imtiaz Ali: "Of course the laws need to be revised! An act that is natural to some cannot be illegal in a free democracy."

Amrita Arora: "Gays have just the same rights as straight people. I party with them and I find them sensitive and dependable. Why single them out for ridicule? High time people stop being judgemental about how others live their lives."

Sammir Dattani: "I find it weird that the cops had the time to check out what was going on in a private party at a time when innocent people were being pulled out of cabs and beaten up for being another kind of minority in Mumbai.

We need to stop targeting specific communities just because they're vulnerable. A gay party is nobody's business. If sex crimes bother the cops how about doing something about date rape and domestic abuse?

Vipul Shah: "Yes laws need revision. Nobody has the right to decide for others. It's every individual's birthright to decide his or her sexual preference. And nobody has the right to interfere. Unless they were behaving obscenely the gay party goers shouldn't have been raided.

Tanushree Dutta: "Oh my gawd! This is ridiculous!! The laws need desperate change.Or maybe homosexuality is legal and the cops don't know about it?

Shefali Shah: "I don't see why there should be laws against individuals based on their sexual preferences. It's a free world. People are entitled to making their own choices, as long as their choices don't hurt anyone.

Shaad Randhawa: "My mantra in life is live and let live. To each his own in a democracy. And who are others to judge?

It's a strictly personal choice. Instead of harassing private guests at a party how about looking at more serious issues?Leave people's sexual preferences alone.

Neetu Chandra: "Yes I think the gay laws need change. Why should a private party be a problem for anyone? They didn't mean any harm. The gays have the right to live life to the fullest. The constutution should protect their rights. We should respect every one's protocol regardless of sexual orientation.

Aryan Vaid: " My closest friends are gay and I'm constantly socializing with them. Gays are integral part of our society. We need to accept that, and accommodate them.

Sexual bias is as bad as any other bias that plagues our society. What happened on Saturday night is draconian and ugly. What right did the cops have to stop a private party?

Nakul Vaid: "I don't know the real reasons for the arrest. But if the reason was homosexuality then the laws must seriously be amended. Anything that you're born with cannot be illegal."

Mahesh Bhatt: "The state has no business to step into people's bedrooms and question their sexual preferences. It's a matter between two consenting adults.

Minissha Lamba: "Yes the laws need to be revised. Our country is poised to be a major contender in the world forum. Yet we've laws against homosexuality that seem myopic and regressive.

We need to open our minds and hearts to all communities.Everyone has the right to live in a democracy without prejudice persecution or prosecution.

Ravi Kissan: "I don't know what the law says about homosexuality. Lekin itna kehna chahunga.Jiyo aur jeene do. Koi paap nahin hai gay hona. It's a personal choice. If the gays break any law then it's a different matter.

Prashant Raj : "The laws regarding homosexuality certainly need to be revised. Every individual has the right to a sexual preference. And what happens behind closed doors is nobody's business as long as it's not illegal."

Neil Mathur: "It's a sensitive subject that needs careful consideration"

Irfan Khan: "I'm not sure about the laws regarding homosexuality. And how do we know it was a gay party?"

An Ugly spat with Mallika Sherawat!

The shooting of Pritish Nandy Communications Ugly Aur Pagli is getting uglier and 'paglier' than the enterprising producer had bargained for, what with the leading man Ranvir Shorey, known to be headstrong and adamant when the occasion demands, refusing to surrender to anyone's ego.

Last week Mallika stormed out of the wacky film's sets when Ranvir Shorey arrived hours late for the shooting.

Honest to the core, Ranvir doesn't deny the incident. "Yes,we did have a spat last week. We keep having differences of opinion and then keep making up. But this one was more serious. I wasn't well at all.

I had a viral fever. I popped some pills and came for the shoot. But I was about three hours late. Mallika left in a huff. So I had to shoot solo scenes that day.

I got a lot of flak from the entire unit except Mr Pritish Nandy who sent me a very supportive and eloquent sms. It really cheered me up because I was feeling hugely shitty about what happened. Mr Nandy suggested I make up with Mallika because she had walked out of the sets."

Getting more into the Mallika mode Ranvir says, "I've worked with her earlier for Pritish Nandy's Pyar Ke Side Effects.

To be honest, this is the first experience I've had of a temperamental actress. Not that I hold it against or her, because Mallika becomes your chum while she's working with you. Mallika works as a team when she's on camera.

Yeah, she's pagli and and I'm ugly and I keep joking that we could reverse roles. But I've never worked with a moody diva before, not even the mythic Madhuri Dixit was very down to earth in Aaja Nachle."

With his newly-discovered niche-stardom Ranvir better get used to moody actresses. "I'd rather not. I'm having a tough time dealing with one of those," he jokes.

I would never Kiss or Strip: Ayesha

She said no to Nagesh Kukunoor, the guy who gave her career's best film Dor.

"I just couldn't do the kissing scene in Aashayein. We tried to find a way out. But it didn't work out for me.

Fortunately for me, Nagesh is a dear friend. He didn't hold my no against me. We completed Tasveer with Akshay Kumar in Canada. And there was nothing there to make me uncomfortable."

Ayesha is aware that her more uninhibited colleagues are making hey-hey-hey while she refuses to get bold on camera.

"But I don't mind losing out on roles. At least ten years from now I don't want to look back and cringe at anything. I've a family and a boyfriend. And I don't want to embarrass anyone."

Ayesha has an exciting year ahead with films with big-league heroes. "I'm working with Ajay Devgan in Sunday, Akshay Kumar in Nagesh Kukunoor's supernatural-psychological thriller Tasveer. We shot it in one stretch in Canada.

Then I've Prabhu Deva's Wanted, an action film with Salman Khan. Here I don't have much to do. I hang around doing whatever leading ladies do …sing, dance and purse my lips when the hero fights," she says with disarming honesty.

Candid in her self-assessment, she sees a boyfriend as no impediment to her career.

"In fact I'm so glad Farhan is no part of the industry. And that he's a self- made man who loves me for whom I am. I don't think having a boyfriend is any problem for a career.

The only annoying part of having a boyfriend is that every time I've a release I'm informed by the press that I'm getting married in two months. It irritates me. When I get married I'll announce it from rooftops. I'm proud of my boyfriend."

Boyfriend is no problem. But her selfcensorship code does hamper her onward progression. "There're things that I wouldn't do, like kiss and wear certain kinds of clothes.

And yes that does put me at a disadvantage. But I'm very happy with the work that I'm getting. After Dor I'm being taken seriously as an actress. "

Last year she had a patch of rough whether when Salaam-e-Ishq and No Smoking bombed. "Everyone kept asking why I reappeared in No Smoking in a double role.

I'd like all questions about that film to be directed to the director Anurag Kashyap. please. I've no clue.It was small role, just ten days' work I'd do another film for Anurag anytime. He's a friend."

Kangana Ranaut drops her Top!!!

Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra, Arbaaz Khan and now Neil Nitin Mukesh - Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion is getting bigger everyday.

Bhandakar reportedly approached Neil some time ago for a plum role in his film ‘Fashion’, but the actor could not give his final nod because of other Bollywood commitments.

Now, Neil has apparently sorted out his dates and spared enough days to shoot for ‘Fashion’. He also met Madhur on the film’s sets recently and discussed the project in detail. He also liked the filmmaker’s vision.

In the film, Neil plays a model who goes on to become an actor.

Though Neil has never been a full-time model, he has already had his tryst with film industry. So, in a way, his role in ‘Fashion’ is close to his real personality. Like Madhur’s previous films, Fashion is his take on the evils of fashion industry.

A little birdie tells us that taking a cue from Carol Gracias's infamous wardrobe malfunction Madhur has just canned a similar scene with Kangana Ranaut, who willingly did not use a body double. Only Madhur, his cinematographer and a couple of essential people were present at the shoot.

But to everyone's surprise Carol also landed in the studio. She stayed on till Madhur finished shooting the scene with Kangana but did not interfere at all. Carol didn't even exchanged pleasantries with the filmmaker or Kangana. She just sat with Noyonika and closely observed the scene and left as soon as the scene was shot.

When contacted, Bhandarkar refused to divulge too many details about the shoot.

Deepika charging more than Ash!!!

It may seem to be incredible, but the truth is that ‘one film wonder’ Deepika Padukone is proving to be costlier than former Miss World Aishwarya Rai to the film producers.

Before her entry into Bollywood, Deepika was talked about more because of her string of boyfriends, but today she is also in the news for demanding exorbitant rates for acting in films.

Soon after the resounding success of the Shah Rukh-Deepika starrer ‘Om Shani Om’, a producer from south India Shankar, who made the super hit film ‘Shivaji –The Boss’ with Rajnikanth, had approached the former model for the female lead role in his forthcoming film ‘Robot’, but Deepika is reported to have charged such a high fee which left the producer stunned as well as silent.

Next, Shankar approached Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan for the role, but there is no confirmation whether the actress has said yes.

Sources close to the former beauty queen revealed that though money is no factor with Aishwarya, she is basically running a tight schedule.

After having completed the magnum opus ‘Jodhaa-Akbar’, Aishwarya has just completed shooting for an international project ‘Pink Panther – 2’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’. Currently, the actress, her husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan and mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan are holidaying in the ‘pink city of Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Producer Shankar has once again signed up his favorite super hero Rajnikanth for ‘Robot’, where the actor will be seen in the role of a scientist who creates a robot for the benefit of mankind.

However, the robot, like Frankenstein, turns again mankind and Rajnikanth works hard to bring it back to control. A whole lot of special techniques and special effects will be used in this semi-science fiction.

Now, what is worth mentioning is that perhaps the success of ‘Om Shanti Om’ has gone into the head of Deepika, who has let go of an opportunity to work in a big budget film opposite South superstar Rajnikanth only for the sake of money.

This move may prove to be costly for Deepika and she may not even get the opportunity to make amends. For Bollywood does not offer time to make amends!

Darsheel Of Taare Zameen Par, Rocks The World With His Performance

Darsheel Safari akka Ishaan Awasti of Taare zameen Pa, has won millions of heart across.

Just like any ordinary kid, he LOVES TO HAVE FUN AND IS FULL OF ACTION.

As most of you must have seen when invited for the show “Kids Champ”, he refused to sit amongst other judges like Sonu Nigam et al.

He kept on requesting to sit amongst the other Kids who were competing for the best Singer’s Trophy.

Also one couldn’t help but smile at his animated gestures and honesty at an interview at NDTV and Channel V.

When Amir Khan at a publicity show at Channel V asked him “Who his Favorite Actor was ????The Baccha so honestly replied “Hritikh” and not “Amir Khan”.

When Amir asked him “ Why Hrithik and why not me”The kid gave a simple reply “ Hrithik dances in a superb manner, that is why” Darsheel has made everybody proud and almost all the actors of Taare Zameen Par wished they had a child like him.

He was awarded for the best actor in the child’s role this year. When asked which part of Taare Zameen Par should be reshot again he unhesitantly states: The Bum Bum Bole song sequence as he could not dance on-screen to the song Bum bum bole. However, the little actor danced during the retakes of the shots. “I have trained in Shiamak’s (Davar) school and I am a good dancer. Everyone in Bum bum bole danced, excluding me. I was very upset. So, every time they shot a retake, I would start dancing,” Darsheel wrote in Aamir Khan’s blog
His acting of a dyslexic child has touched one and all.
For those of you who haven’t watched the movie, do go and watch it.

It will help you understand your child better.
